OPENING of DISTRICT 26 for Season 2026
The opening  was held at Hamilton BC, the home club of this seasons President Dougie McIntosh.
Our grateful thanks to Hamilton Club President and members for the use of their green for our opening game. It was held on Thursday 23rd April 2026.
Members attended from various clubs throughout the district the majority of them taking advantage of the weather by playing 8 ends.
After the game we partook of  Pies/Sausage Rolls. Thanks to the those who assisted during the day selling raffle tickets.
Our sincere thanks to Hamilton BC Green Keeper for the condition of the green. 
A Raffle was held with prizes having been donated by member clubs at the AGM or on opening day.

The opening  was held at Stonehouse BC, the home club of this seasons President Tom Feeney.
Our grateful thanks to Stonehouse President and members for the use of their green for our opening game. It was held on Thursday 22nd April 2025.
40 Members attended from various clubs throughout the district the majority of them taking advantage of the weather by playing 8 ends.
After the game we partook of  Pies/Sausage Rolls. Thanks to the those who assisted during the day selling raffle tickets, preparing the food and manning the Bar..
Our sincere thanks to Stonehouse BC Green Keeper for the condition of the green. 
A Raffle was held with prizes having been donated by member clubs at the AGM or on opening day.

OPENING of DISTRICT 26 for Season 2024

The opening was held at Dalserf Bowling Club, home club of current President Kay Sveistrup for which we are very grateful. It was held on Tuesday 24th April, when the sun shone brightly.

24 players took part in the game in the usual friendly manner.

The opening game was followed by  a 'Bowlers Lunch'. 

A Raffle was held with prizes having been donated by member clubs at the AGM or on opening day.

A big thank you to President Kay's hospitality with thanks also to President Chris Anderson of Dalserf BC handing over the green to our use for the day and appreciation to the Catering Staff, Bar Staff and other members of Dalserf BC for their help in organising the day.
