D26 ONE DAY TRIPLES
MONDAY 1st JULY 2025
UDDINGSTON BOWLING CLUB
Another successful day Bowling in the District 26 Seniors One Day Triples this year held at Uddingston BC. Our thanks to Club President who on behalf of his membership, handed over the use of there greens to D26 President Tom Feenie.
Our thanks goes to D26 Organiser of the day Robin Brown. Thanks also to Janet Foster of Country Bake Coffee Shop, Strathaven and her staff for the Morning Tea/Coffee and the Lunchtime meal. Also to the Bar Staff who kept everyone hydrated!!
It was good to see 22 teams entered (unfortunately two clubs failed to appear) but this did not spoil the day, played in the spirit of friendship & fellowship.
Congratulations to the winners, commiserations to the runners up and to everyone else thanks for participating and making it an enjoyable tournament and here is looking forward to next season.

Our thanks goes to D26 Organiser of the day Robin Brown. Thanks also to Linda Sneddon and her staff for the Morning Tea/Coffee and the Lunchtime meal. Also to the Bar Staff who kept everyone hydrated!!
It goes without saying that such a day is boosted by a Sponsor and once again this year thanks goes to Tom Kirkland (Past President D26 2023).
It was good to see 24 teams entered (unfortunately one club failed to appear) but this did not spoil the day, played in the spirit of friendship & fellowship.
The weather may have been damp but did not deter from some excellent bowling throughout the day.
